Your Game Master

I’ve been playing tabletop role-playing games since “elf” was a class in Dungeons & Dragons (that’s around 40 years, y’all) and have extensive experience playing and running multiple systems, including D&D, Call of Cthulhu, Star Wars, and Monster of the Week to name just a few.

But really, I’m doing this because I love role-playing games. I love the story that a GM and players create together.

I am or have been an author, publisher, renter of virtual apartments for real money, injector of radioactive materials (for the forces of good, usually), sociologist, hobbyist programmer, teacher, SJW, neurospicy, and dedicated to punching up.

About My Style

Two of my favorite “live play” campaigns have been The Adventure Zone’s “Amnesty” campaign and Dimension 20’s “Escape From The Bloodkeep,” and give you a good idea of what I’m going for.

I adore the rule of cool. If you can figure out a reason why you should have a chance to do the thing, you’ll get a chance. There may be consequences, sure, but it’ll sure be cool anyway.

Safety not guaranteed. I do not plan (or try) to kill characters, but I don’t control your dice or Leroy Jenkins.

I know what triggers are; I have several from past trauma. I respect and honor triggers and will work around them.

Content warnings will be given up front for anticipated possible issues.

We are here to have fun. That’s the point of the whole thing, let’s do it together!
